The purpose of this project is to design and implement a smart stock control and inventory system for the supermarket. The student will need to design an application that will monitor the stock level on the shelf and in the store, and send an order to the supplier when the stock become low. The inventory system must be intelligent to order sufficient amount of stock to maximise the financial profit of the supermarket. Over ordering the stock will cause the good to overdue while under ordering the stock will not maximise the profile. The application will make use appropriate prediction algorithm for consumer prediction, and RFID technology and database to assist the stock checking. The student is required to further develop the project idea by researching the topic
